Our collection consists of over 500 works. It covers the flow of European art from
Wassily Kandinsky and Paul Klee, who originated abstraction at the beginning of the 20th century,
via Dadaism and Surrealism to Art Informel and Nouveau Réalisme. Regarding American art,
it comprises the flow from Abstract Expressionist artists such as Jackson Pollock and Mark Rothko
to Neo-Dada and Pop art with additional artists of the 1980s such as Anselm Kiefer
and Francesco Clemente. It also features a collection of works by leading postwar Japanese artists.
